The ISEB Pre-Tests Centre Certification Programme offers an optional certification process to non-school invigilation centres. It is designed to recognise invigilation centres that demonstrate the highest standards of test delivery, security and candidate experience.
As demand for independent, trusted test centres continues to grow, certification provides a clear way for invigilation centres to showcase their commitment to quality and integrity. Certified invigilation centres receive official recognition from ISEB, along with the opportunity to build trust with schools, and give families greater confidence in your centre.

Certification levels
All invigilation centres must successfully complete ISEB's standard approval process before hosting the ISEB Pre-Tests. This includes:

Bronze Certification
Bronze Certification recognises Pre-Tests invigilation centres that have completed additional verification and staff training.
Bronze Certified Pre-Tests Invigilation Centres will receive a personalised digital badge that can be displayed on their website and in marketing materials, added visbility on the Pre-Tests Guardian Portal and a listing on the ISEB website.
Silver Certification
Silver Certification provides an enhanced level of assurance through additional centre review and engagement with ISEB.
Silver Certified Pre-Tests Invigilation Centres will receive a personalised digital badge that can be displayed on their website and in marketing materials, added visbility on the Pre-Tests Guardian Portal, an enhanced listing on the ISEB website, and inclusion in a list of Silver and Gold Pre-Tests Invigilation Centres made available to senior schools.
Gold Certification
Gold Certification represents the highest level of recognition within the programme.
Gold Certified Pre-Tests Invigilation Centres will receive a personalised digital badge that can be displayed on their website and in marketing materials, added visbility on the Pre-Tests Guardian Portal, a profile listing with direct link on the ISEB website, inclusion in a list of Silver and Gold Pre-Tests Invigilation Centres made available to senior schools, and a plaque to display in their centre. Gold centres will also have a dedicated contact person at ISEB they can contact for support with Pre-Tests invigilation.

International quality assurance
ISEB is committed to maintaining consistent standards across all locations where the Pre-Tests are delivered.
In selected regions, ISEB may work with trusted local educational organisations and government bodies to support the certification process. These partnerships may include site visits, centre verification and additional quality assurance measures to help ensure that all candidates receive a fair and secure testing experience.
Annual certification
Certification is awarded for one academic year and may be renewed annually.
Renewal helps ensure that centres continue to meet programme requirements, maintain staff knowledge and demonstrate ongoing compliance with ISEB standards.
